Request for Additional Unsubsidized Funds
Students may request additional unsubsidized loan funds. Before making a request, review your current monthly payment projection by clicking here and accessing the loan repayment calculator.
Students must complete the following steps to request unsubsidized loans:
1. Complete the Student Loan Request Form. This form can be completed and returned in person or by e-mail. These request forms must be accompanied by a clear copy of photo identification. In addition, they can be submitted to a UA-PTC Financial Aid Representative on any UA-PTC location.
Note: Faxed copies cannot be accepted due to the poor transmission quality of photo identification.
2. Complete the Entrance Counseling and an MPN, if these are not already on file with UA-PTC.
3. Student Loan Request Form will be processed after the 11th day of class. Once students have been awarded additional loans, the student will be required to accept or decline loans through the UA-PTC Financial Aid Portal.
4. Loans will be disbursed and refunds made according to the refund schedule published on the UA-PTC Student Accounts Page.
Note: Loan amounts and eligibility may vary based on a student’s cost of attendance, estimated family contribution, and other aid awards.
