All borrowers at UA-PTC must have complete Entrance Counseling and a Loan Agreement for a Subsidized/Unsubsidized Loan (MPN). Loan counseling ensures the student understands his/her rights and responsibilities of student loan borrowing.

To complete these processes, you will be required to use the FSA ID you used to sign your FAFSA. If you do not remember your FSA ID, or have questions about your FSA ID, visit www.fsaid.ed.gov.

Steps to Completing Entrance Counseling

1. Locate your FSA ID. To sign in you will need the FSA ID you used to sign your FAFSA. Access the following site: https://studentloans.gov/myDirectLoan/index.action
2. Click on Complete Entrance Counseling.
3. Click on Log in to Start.
4. Complete required information and submit.

When the Entrance Counseling is completed successfully, confirmation is sent to UA-PTC from the U.S. Department of Education.

Steps to Completing Your Master Promissory Note:

1. Locate your FSA ID. To sign in you will need the FSA ID you used to sign your FAFSA. Access the following site: https://studentloans.gov/myDirectLoan/index.action
2. Click on Complete Loan Agreement for Subsidized/Unsubsidized Loan (MPN)
3. Click on Log in to Start.
