UA - Pulaski Tech's Statement on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Diversity: UA-PTC embraces a definition of diversity that includes ethnic/racial identity, sexual orientation, age, sex, religious beliefs, socioeconomic status, gender identity, nationality, body shape/size and differences in physical ability. The College is committed to affirming the uniqueness and potential of individuals and will strive to promote social justice for all persons in every facet of our campus community.
Equity: UA-PTC is committed to creating an environment that ensures each member of the campus community receives what he or she needs to have a successful collegiate experience.
Inclusion: UA-PTC strives to create a campus culture that is welcoming, accessible, and without barriers to all people. Further, the institution is dedicated to ensuring that everyone, regardless of their abilities or disabilities, has the right to be recognized as a valuable contributor and participant of our campus community.
As the College moves into the future, its intended work on inclusion will authentically bring traditionally excluded individuals and/or groups into processes, activities, and decision/policy making in a way that shares power.
