The Typing Placement Exam measures current skill level in keyboarding to place students in the correct Keyboarding course. Students do not earn credits by taking the Typing Test but can be placed into keyboarding courses without taking prerequisite keyboarding courses based on their scores. There is no fee for the typing test. The typing test usually takes 5-10 minutes to complete. The typing test can only be taken once.

The Typing Test can be taken at Main Campus, Campus Center Building, Room 240 during the following times:

Tuesday - 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Wednesday - 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Friday - 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The Typing Test can be taken at Little Rock-South during the following time:

Thursday - 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
