UA-PTC Student Ambassadors

The Student Ambassador program is a leadership opportunity for students who are excited about their experience at UA-PTC and would like an opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of UA-PTC. Ambassadors share their enthusiasm for the college with potential students and distinguished guests providing services and/or assisting with events and activities throughout the academic year.

TWO AMBASSADOR OPTIONS TO CHOOSE FROM:

Student Services Ambassadors - Student services ambassadors are seen giving campus tours and assisting with campus recruitment days, introducing new and prospective students to campus resources, greeting and answering questions for new and prospective students at the Welcome Center/Admissions/Financial Aid areas, and reaching out to incoming students via phone, mail-outs, and campus recruitment events.

Student Activity Ambassadors - Student activity ambassadors participate in speaking engagements, community outreach, student orientation, student activities, and many other college events. Student Activity Ambassadors encourage other students to be involved in campus events and leadership activities and are involved in the planning, promotion, and implementation of a number of campus events.

Qualifications:

Membership in the Student Ambassador program is based on academic achievement, involvement in extracurricular activities, leadership abilities, and recommendations of faculty and professional staff.

All applicants must have a minimum 2.5 Cumulative G.P.A at the time of application and must maintain a 2.5 semester and cumulative G.P.A once selected as an Ambassador. Applicants must be in good financial standing with the College and must have no record of student code of conduct violations.

Requirements:

All UA-PTC Student Ambassadors must:

  • Attend orientation and all monthly training meetings
  • Maintain a 2.5 semester and cumulative G.P.A.
  • Maintain good financial standing with the College and have no record of student conduct violations
  • Remain in good standing as an ambassador and adhere to the guidelines within the Ambassador Agreement and Ambassador Constitution.

Student Activity Ambassadors:

  • Earn 400 Points a Semester

Student Services Ambassadors:

  • Work four office hours a week

Scholarship Information:

UA-PTC Student Ambassadors will earn a scholarship up to $1000 per semester, as outlined in the Ambassador Agreement.
