Arkansas Scholars Scholarship

University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College offers a $500 tuition and fee waiver for high school students who attend UA-PTC immediately following their graduating year of high school. Visit the Arkansas Scholars website to find out if you qualify.

University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College Career Scholarship

The UA-PTC Career Scholarship is awarded to outstanding graduating seniors who have actively participated in career orientated activities while in high school. To be eligible, students must:

  • Have graduated from a high school in the UA-PTC service area of Pulaski, Lonoke, Saline or Faulkner counties
  • Enroll at UA-PTC the semester following high school completion
  • Have a 2.5 cumulative high school GPA on a 4.0 scale and,
  • Have participated in one or more of the following while in high school:
    1. Skills USA skilled contests
    2. UA-PTC/High School articulated programs
    3. UA-PTC/High School career and technical education early college programs
    4. High school culinary ProStart curriculum
    5. Career oriented high school programs, clubs or organizations, such as FBLA, FFA, PBL, HOSA, or FCCLA.

The UA-PTC Career Scholarship is renewable for up to four semesters with full time enrollment and maintenance of a 3.0 cumulative financial aid GPA.

Amount: Tuition & Fees (excluding general fee and specialty fees)

Deadline to apply: July 1 of the year in which the student graduates.


Pulaski County Single Parent Scholarship Fund

The Pulaski County Single Parent Scholarship Fund (SPSF) provides financial assistance to single parents in Pulaski County who are pursuing higher education and are enrolled as full-time students. The fund provides $2,700 per year ($900 each fall, spring, and summer semester) per recipient to help pay for tuition, fees, books, daycare, rent or mortgage, utility assistance, professional dues, testing fees, transportation needs, diapers, food, and other financial needs. Scholarship recipients are also involved in mentoring programs and workshops that are designed to ensure student success in college and in life.


Ralph G. Norman Scholarship Application

The Learning Disabilities Association of Arkansas is seeking applicants for its annual Ralph G. Norman Scholarship. The Ralph G. Norman Scholarship is awarded in the amount of $2,500 to an individual with a documented learning disability who will be enrolled in the Fall Semester at a university, two-year community college, or a vocational/technical training program.

The ideal scholarship recipient is an individual who:

  • Recognizes and understands his or her learning disability and is able to self-advocate when necessary
  • Is committed to pursuing higher academic study or career training and has begun to set realistic career goals
  • Is committed to achieving personal goals despite the challenges of a learning disability
  • Participates in school and community activities

*Special Course Fees: Some programs, including but not limited to Aviation, Culinary, Technical and Industrial programs, Occupational Therapy Assistant, & Respiratory programs, require additional course fees.
